SERVING TIMES: will vary based on area
TIME COMMITMENT: will vary based on ministry needs
CARDS MINISTRY - send cards to people in our church family to bless them with words of faith and encouragement. Cards, names and postage are provided by the church.
CARING FOR WIDOWS - it can be a very lonely time in the weeks and months following the death of a spouse. This team visits with those in our church family who have lost a spouse to offer encouragement and prayer. ➤
COMMUNITY CARE TEAM* - a team of caring individuals who visit/contact those in our church family who are in a nursing facility or homebound. They visit (or call) in order to encourage and pray with those who are no longer physically able to come to church. ➤
HOSPITAL VISITATION - briefly visit and pray with those in our church who are in local hospitals. These visits can be done on days of your choosing and the church office will provide you with admission information. ➤
MEALS MINISTRY - be added to a group willing to make a meal for someone in the church who is going through a time of illness, loss, life change, etc. (days and times would vary).

COACHING ASSISTANTS - help CCA coaches with team activities. ➤
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES HELPER - help supervise extracurricular activities such as JBQ, robotics, school musical, etc. ➤
FUNDRAISING - help with the various fundraising activities throughout the school year. ➤
LIBRARY HELPER - proofread library books before adding them to our library shelves.
LUNCH MONITOR - help to supervise the students during lunch. ➤
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER - filling in for teachers in their absence (hiring required). ➤

TIME COMMITMENT: 2-4 gatherings per month
COMMUNITY LEADER* - facilitator of a midsize (15-40 people), extended family of relationships centered around Jesus and a mission to make disciples within a certain neighborhood or network of relationships. ➤
ASSISTANT LEADER* – help facilitate a midsize, extended family of relationships with the potential to multiply and become the leader of a new Central Community. ➤

SERVING TIMES: Sunday morning or Wednesday night
TIME COMMITMENT: Sunday mornings - twice a month (one service) /Wednesday nights - semester commitment
SUNDAY MORNINGS - CENTRAL LITTLE KIDS (nursery - preK) / CENTRAL KIDS (k - 5th grade)
LEADER* - facilitate lessons, crafts and classroom management with assistance from the helpers in the room. ➤
HELPER* - assist the leader with lessons, crafts and classroom management. ➤
WELCOME TEAM* - greet and check-in families before each service and assist with check-out at the close of service. ➤
BUDDY MINISTRY VOLUNTEER* - be paired with a special needs child to help them participate during Super Church (2nd service only). ➤
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - K.R.E.W. (K - 5th) / K.R.E.W. JR. (preK)
TEAM LEADER* - help facilitate large & small group stations, games and classroom management. ➤
HELPER* - help leaders with projects, crafts and classroom management. ➤
WELCOME TEAM* - greet and check-in families before Groups and assist with check-out. ➤
OTHER
JUNIOR BIBLE QUIZ - help 2nd-5th graders learn God's Word by assisting with practices, coaching a team, or officiating at Bible Quiz meets. JBQ runs Sept. - Feb. and meets at 6pm on Wed. nights. ➤

SERVING TIMES: Sunday mornings - one service
TIME COMMITMENT: Sunday mornings - monthly rotation / Other - times vary based on schedule & need
SUNDAY MORNINGS
CAFE TEAM* - A hospitable personnel is desired to facilitate a clean and friendly environment. Must have prior training of commercial cafe equipment. Detailed work would include set up, service, point of sales, clean up and inventory. ➤
DOORKEEPER - open main doors for guests as they arrive to make them feel welcome at church.
GOLF CART TEAM - shuttle guests to and from their cars on Sunday mornings and for special events.
GREETER - greet guests as they enter the foyer on Sunday mornings.
PARKING TEAM - direct the flow of traffic, help those needing assistance to get the building & provide a great first impression.
USHER TEAM - help guests find seating, assist in crowd control, answer questions and pass out items as needed.
WELCOME CENTER TEAM* - welcome guests by: passing out gift bags, offering tours of the campus, helping those with children get connected to Central Kids, answering questions regarding facilities, events and other registrations. (knowledge of technology - iPads, apps, etc. is beneficial) ➤
OTHER
NAME TAG & GIFT BAG TEAM - help prepare the name tags for those serving each week and stuff guest gift bags as needed.

SERVING TIMES: will vary based on area
TIME COMMITMENT: Groups operate on a semester rotation, Thrive Groups operate on a yearly rotation & mentor schedule will vary based on need.
GROUP LEADER* - facilitates a small group study for a semester using books, videos or other biblical resources. ➤
TEACHER* - shares their gift of biblical teaching with a group of students to help them grow spiritually. ➤
THRIVE GROUP LEADER* – develops and activates the culture of God’s Kingdom with a limited number of disciples, focusing on hearing and obeying the Holy Spirit, with a goal of multiplication. ➤
MENTOR* - a spiritually mature believer who works one-on-one to encourage and disciple another. ➤
YOUNG ADULT MENTOR* - a spiritually mature believer works one-on-one to encourage and disciple a young adult who may be at college or entering the work force. ➤

EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM
SECURITY TEAM* - provide security for Sunday morning services, Wednesday night activities and special events (serving commitment: two Sunday services a month and one Wednesday night a month - special events on a volunteer basis). ➤
MEDICAL TEAM* - provide necessary medical attention in the event of a medical emergency during a church event. This is a stand-by position and one where you would only be called upon if needed. (serving commitment: one service a month or as needed). ➤
SPECIAL EVENTS
FUNERAL MEALS - serve or help cook dinner at the church for family and friends of those who are grieving after a funeral service.
KITCHEN HELPER - throughout the year there are events that require assistance with cooking, food preparation, and set-up.
TRANSPORTATION - drive school bus (CDL license required) or church vans for special events throughout the year for children, youth and adult groups. ➤
CHURCH CAMPUS
CONSTRUCTION - use your skills to help with special projects on campus (times would vary).
HOUSEKEEPING - help keep our facilities clean by volunteering to clean in certain areas (times would vary).
LANDSCAPING - groom and care for landscaping and mulch beds around campus (times and projects would vary on the season).
SNOW REMOVAL - help on weekends to clear parking lots and sidewalks for Sunday services and special events.
CHURCH OFFICE
GENERAL VOLUNTEER - support office staff on a regular basis by answering phones, making copies and other office tasks (basic computer skills and pleasant phone personality needed).
SPECIAL PROJECTS - help on an as-needed basis with a wide variety of special projects (daytime - during office hours).

TIME COMMITMENT: varies based on area, event and/or ministry
LOCAL MISSIONS TEAM - help with local outreach projects or ongoing outreaches (Neighbor 2 Neighbor, Pittsburgh Dream Center, Clean Up Our County, etc.) including minor building repairs, painting, collecting and distributing clothing & food, etc. (serving times would vary based on need and ministry). ➤
AFTER SCHOOL VOLUNTEER - help with the after-school program at Washington Estates (after-school program meets Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays). ➤
SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM - help with our summer lunch program at Washington Estates. The program runs Monday - Friday during the summer months. Volunteers do a short craft, interact with the kids who come and hand out a bag lunch for them to take home. (Monday - Fridays from 12:30 - 1:30pm) ➤

SERVING TIMES: Wednesday nights & special events
TIME COMMITMENT: Wednesday Nights • 6:30 - 9:00pm
VOLUNTEER - Welcome Team - greet teens at the front doors of the Rock, 6:30-7:15pm. ➤
ADULT LEADER* - one who will help to lead a part of the service each week, engage in meaningful conversations with our youth, lead discussion groups, participate in and lead games, prayer times and attend scheduled social youth events. ➤
OTHER
TEEN BIBLE QUIZ - help teach 6th-12th graders to learn God's Word by assisting with practices, coaching a team, or officiating at Bible Quiz meets. ➤

SERVING TIMES: Sunday mornings & special services
TIME COMMITMENT: Sunday morning rotations (one or both services)
WORSHIP TEAM
INSTRUMENTALIST* - all manner of instruments are welcome! An understanding of chord charts and the ability to read music are helpful but not required (both services - can leave after 2nd service worship).
VOCALIST* - singing as either a lead or background vocalist (both services - can leave after 2nd service worship).
TECH/MEDIA TEAM
COMPUTER OPERATOR - run lyrics, slides and videos during service (both services required).
CAMERA OPERATOR - follow elements of the service on one of our two manned cameras (can serve at one or both services).
PHOTOGRAPHER - take photos during our Sunday morning services and at special events to be used to archive the service or event, on social media, or in general promotions (can serve at one or both services).
ONLINE HOST* - chat with and monitor our Facebook and YouTube comment sections. This can be done remotely online or in-person (You will have a special log in - your personal account will not be used - can serve at one or both services). ➤
OTHER
ART & DECORATION - use your skills as a visual artist/decorator in worship or for a sermon series, special service, or production. This is an as-needed serving opportunity but we are excited to see it being used in the future.
