2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
It’s time for the church to rise up above the negativity in today’s culture and pray for God to move mightily upon each one of us. If we are going to ask God to do a great work among us, then we need to be positioned to steward this with attitudes, words and actions that reflect Jesus, not our culture.
It is counterproductive to pray to God for a solution, and then complain to people about the problem. It just doesn’t work that way! The Lord wants to rid us of negativity while giving us a renewed passion to pray for a revival in our nation.
God is equipping us to be the most positive and faith-filled people in our families, communities and workplaces. That is why Central’s church family is being called to fast (refrain from) negativity, complaining, and criticism, while praying and interceding for the Holy Spirit to be poured out, the 21 days leading up to the presidential election. It is possible for us to stand up for what we believe, pray to God for His solutions, and do it all with a godly attitude.
