A New approach to advancing his kingdom this summer

JUNE 21 - AUGUST 2

Central Family it's time to reach out. Our summer plans may have changed and certain health restrictions may have limited us, BUT God is still calling us to advance His Kingdom. This summer we are asking you to pray, seek, listen and obey as you walk or drive through your neighborhood and community. We want to advance His Kingdom by showing the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to those who are hurting and in need. So put your walking shoes on and get ready for a new kind of outreach!

THE STARTING LINE

  • STEP ONE: PRAY & WALK

We ask that you begin in your neighborhood or around your workplace and start prayer walking (or driving) with a purpose. Ask the Lord to reveal needs to you and how you can meet them. Maybe it's an elderly neighbor who needs help with their yard  work, a family struggling to make ends meet, in this season we know that the possibilities are endless. Be creative, walk in pairs or teams, prayer walk on vacation, there are no rules to follow.

  • STEP TWO: LISTEN

As you walk and pray, take time to listen. What is the Holy Spirit saying to you? Is He highlighting someone or someplace? The Lord may reveal the answer to you in a moment or over time. Our part is not the "how" but being open and willing to hear His voice as He directs our steps.

  • STEP THREE: OBEY & ADVANCE

As we step out in prayer and obedience, we will be part of advancing God's Kingdom here on earth. Ask someone if you can be of any help to them, pray for someone, give an encouraging gift - do whatever the Lord has impressed upon your heart to do. It may be big, it may be small but God is only asking that we be available to reach out to others in His name.
