In times of tragedy and uncertainty, it can be difficult to know where to turn for even basic items. 

If you or someone you know is in need of help with basic supplemental food and supplies, 

please see the information below.

WHERE CAN I FIND ASSISTANCE?

If you are in need of assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, please check out the resources below. You can also contact the United Way's 2-1-1 website for additional resources. 

  • LOCAL FOOD ASSISTANCE

    The Greater Washington County Food Bank is distributing food weekly at a number of locations. Visit their website or Facebook page for locations and other information.

  • SALVATION ARMY

    The Salvation Army, will be out in the community to help meet the needs  of families while schools are closed. Families are encouraged to stop at one of their locations to pick up a bag of supplemental food.

HOW CAN I HELP?

During times of crisis the need for healthy volunteers and donations rises. If you are willing and able to volunteer, please contact the Church Office to be added to our list of volunteers. As a church we are committed to local, national and international missions, which includes disaster relief. Your continued offerings will help us as we reach out to our local community. Listed below are ways that you can get connected to volunteer within the community.

  • MEALS ON WHEELS

    The local chapter of Meals on Wheels is looking for people to pack and/or deliver food to those in need. For more info contact Don Austin at 724-745-0857 or 724-825-9381.
